Pearly razorfish
The pearly razorfish is known by its scientific name as Xyrichtys novacula. This small species belongs to the Labridae family.
Where to find them?
In posidonia meadows. The aquarium located in the tower of the Mediterranean installation.
General aspects
This pale orange fish, with a single long dorsal fin and a large head, usually buries itself in the sand when it feels threatened.
It lives at a maximum depth of 90 metres and can measure up to 20 centimetres.
