Pacific sea nettle
The Pacific sea nettle (Chrysaora Fuscescens) is possibly one of our most characteristic species, and can reach up to 4.5 metres in size.

This species is located in one of the aquariums of the access building of Oceanogràfic.
General aspects
With a length that can reach 4.5 metres, the Pacific sea nettle is characterised by its brown bell with reddish marks. Its umbrella can reach one metre in diameter, a characteristic which makes it one of the species which attracts most visitors.
They are generally distributed on the coasts of Oregon and California, living at depths not exceeding 100 metres.
